Spiritual Hands Ministry
"But let all those rejoice who put their trust in You; Let them ever shout for joy, because You defend them; Let those also who love Your name be joyful in You." Psalm 5:11, NKJV
Everyone deserves to praise and worship God. What if your world was silent? You needed someone to interpret the word of God when you attended church. God has blessed each and everyone one of us with a voice; whether it be with our mouths or with our hands. Accept yourself as God's chosen vessel.
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Christ and has given us the ministry of reconciliation." 2 Corinthians 5:17-18, NKJV.
For those that cannot hear the sermon from the preacher or the songs from the choir, they rely on the gift that God bestowed upon Disaree Rush and Lucretia Robinson. The gift -- Spiritual Hands.
The words from the preacher flow through our hands like water flowing over rocks in a stream. As the music vibrates the pews and the choir sings, we take the ones that cannot hear on a beautiful journey. We paint a picture with the gracefulness of our hands, the expressions on our faces, and the swaying of our bodies.
We hope that through the Spiritual Hands Ministry that anyone can experience the Holy Spirit moving through them. One does not need to hear the word of God by using their ears because God has blessed us with other senses. When we look out into the congregation and see not just the ones that can hear praising God but EVERYONE clapping their hands, stomping their feet, and raising their hands so that God can fill their hearts; it gives us an overwhelming feeling of joy.
Spiritual Hands Ministry - the voice may be silent but the movement of the hands is MESMERIZING, BEAUTIFUL, ANGELIC, and SPIRITUAL.
"As each one received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God. If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the gory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen." 1 Peter 4:10-11, NKJV
